GST Amendment for Business Name Changes

GST Amendment for Mobile Number or Email Changes

Authorized Signatories can update their mobile number or email ID via the GST Common Portal after undergoing the necessary online verification using their digital signature. No officer approval is required, and an official amendment application is not needed for these changes.

GST Amendment Limitations: What Can’t Be Changed?

There are specific restrictions on the types of information that can be modified through a GST amendment:

PAN Number: Changes to PAN are not allowed; a new GST registration must be obtained in this case.
